of-praxis:

you wanna tell me that a white woman moving away from black men has nothing to do with race? explain emmett till, a black kid beaten to death for talking to a white woman in the 1960s. his story is not an isolated one either, nor is it restricted to an era where racism was much more explicit.

please tell me that this image has no parallel to popular representations of black men as ‘king kong’ and white women as ‘the lady king kong snatches up.’ please prove it to me, using facts and evidence and logic. tell me lebron isnt being represented as the Big Black Man, a construction that arose post-slavery to cause fear in the hearts of white folks as newly freed Blacks roamed the nation and looked for a place to settle down.

you have no parallel to a history of being lynched and killed because you dared interact with the purest thing society has to offer- white femininity.

this black history month, shut your fool mouth.
