New York Swingers Head Upstate to a Swinger Camp

TOWN OF TUSTEN, NY — Although the organization is called Erotic Bethel, the actual location of the camp for adults only is on Crystal Lake Road in the Town of Tusten, which puts it in an area with other camps.

 But the people who take part in the events likely have things on their minds other than communing with nature. A promotional line on the site reads, “A new type of swinger party… play under the stars!”

And just to be sure you know what they are talking about, there is this: “Each summer Erotic Bethel hosts three individual 24 hour-long lifestyle socials. Couple friendly, single women are also admitted, however all men must be accompanied with a woman. Each event is unique in pricing and what is offered. However all include outdoor activities during the day, use of our private lake and of course our signature bonfire followed by the Erotic Dance party! Best described as a cross between the classic company picnic and a non-stop 24-hour swinger party, Erotic Bethel offers a truly unique experience to both the veteran and novice swinger.”

The next 24-hour party is scheduled for August 4, but if you’re thinking of running down to Crystal Lake Road on Saturday to buy a ticket, it may already be too late.

Information on the site says the events held in June and July sold out in advance, and no tickets were sold at the gate.
However, if you do manage to snare a ticket you might want to check the frequently asked questions on the website for clues on how to behave. The question is asked, “Are guests required to participate?”

The answer: “Guests are NEVER required to participate. Many couples attend the events just to enjoy the atmosphere, watch the play, or be watched. Each person / couple sets their own limits for what they want to do!”

Under the policies section there is this: “No means No! At any time —a person reserves the right to change a Yes to NO!”
The setting is described as this: “Erotic Bethel is a hidden reserve, comprised of 8 beautifully manicured acres complete with our own private spring fed lake and picturesque Koi meditation pond. All surrounded by 40 acres of privately owned wooded countryside.”
