well, here’s how it occurs to me (and my opinion is worth every penny you paid for it)

a closed community is neither good nor bad. it has things it does and things it does not. that’s just what’s so.

when creating a private place for feminists or woc or whomever, keeping out whites, men, etc. ( all for very good reasons, I must say ), it is very likely that the assumptions of value, class, race, gender, caste which are created by those excluded persons for their benefit and which reside in language - those elements end up inside the group anyway.

so either those values, definitions are addressed constantly and overtly, or for all the exclusion and privacy intended, you may as well have the excluded persons in the room because their language will be
