♥♀♥Make a Frida Kahlo flower crown♥♀♥
Here’s how
What you’ll need: Handful of bobby pins, comb,4 hair ties, a good amount of ribbon in the color of your choice, 5 fake or real flowers ( I find fake ones to work much easier) and some hair spray
Prepare your hair! :I find for ethnic hair it  works much better after airdrying for a   bit right out the shower, however you want your hair to still be a few days old so it’ll hold the style. Using minimal hair product  (I used just a dime size amount of Tresemme Curl Definition hair gel), Part your hair straight down the middle and separate your hair into two chunks on either side.
Pigtails & Ribbons: Next, put your hair into a pigtail on either side of your head and fasten with a 2 of the 4 hair ties. Next, you’ll want to cut an even amount of ribbon proportional to the length of your hair and tie it around the hair tie into a knot. Then separate your hair into three pieces, the ribbon should become apart of two of the three pieces, and begin to tightly braid all the way down. When you reach the end of your hair simply fasten securely with another hair tie, and cut off any extra ribbon (or tie it into a cute bow) Make sure to do this for both sides.
The end product of this step should look something like a slutty feminist school grrrl:

Create the base of the updo: Bring a braid up to about halfway towards the back of your head and secure it with bobby pins! Test it out by shaking your head a bit to make sure it stays put. Do this for both sides, this should create somewhat of a milkmaid braid. Also, don’t worry about the ends of your hair sticking out, you can pin them down if they’re really long but rest assured when you apply the flowers you won’t be able to see a thing!
Get Frida With it: Pick out 5 flowers that you wanna wear in your hair, and cut them so it leaves about a 1 1/2-2 inch stem. Starting in the middle where your hair is parted, slide them in! It should stay put on its own and wiggle it’s way into your hair pretty easy, if your flowers are super flimsy or heavy you may want to  bobby pin them down.
Suffocate yourself with hairspray: This just secures the look and keeps it from frizzy up l8ter in the day
♥♥ Look Fabulous and be a bad bitch just like Frida Kahlo ♥♥
