Help?

As some of you know, I recently moved to a new city. I was crashing with my best friend from college in a house she shared with four other women, and just got the green-light to move into a room downstairs.

I’m blessed in that my best friend is putting up the deposit for me, but I still have to find a way to pay the rent (which is currently $480 since the person who lived in the room before me paid a week’s worth of rent). I don’t have a job yet and most of my money is going toward food and getting to and from job interviews. (Please stop making me travel during rush hour to job interviews, when the metro is more expensive, argh.)

In the meantime, I’ve put up some more of my crocheted goods on etsy, which can be found here. I realize that it’s summer for most people in the Northern Hemisphere which definitely doesn’t help, but you know… Never too early to shop for Christmas?

In addition, if I can sell some of the stuff in my etsy shop, I’ll be able to buy more yarn to make different things, like hair flower pins and more baby blankets, which are more likely to sell during the summer months.

So you can think of it as helping me help myself! If you can’t help, then a reblog would be awesome. The last time I did this, I was able to pay rent, and I could not be more grateful to the awesome tumblr community for the purchases and reblogs. <3 Obviously, even if I sold everything in my shop, I’m still going to be short, but there’s really nothing else I can do at this point, and every little bit helps me put my mind at ease just a little bit.

Thank you!
