this is how the Westerners (and white folks) view our peoples from Third World nations, especially the Indian subcontinent. Western charity is a form of neo-imperialism, as a tool to keep our peoples cloaked in poverty and disempower our peoples and portray us as helpless victims who need to be “rescued.”
