Hate to break it to you
But choosing to eat meat absolutely makes you a bad person.
Like, without question. Just a total shithead.
And this is why, as a vegan, I hate so many other vegans. Shut the fuck up.

*Facepalm.* Yes, eating meat is worse than eating plants. Just like it’s better to bike/walk than to drive a gas-burning vehicle. Recycling old clothes is better than buying new. Chocolate is made with child slavery (I say as I munch on a Snickers I found lying around the office). Just about everything in society is fucked up in some way.
I’m not saying “don’t try”. Try! Try harder! But I am saying that just tossing out “you’re a bad person” really doesn’t do anything but use that person to make you feel better about yourself. Why not “meat production wastes valuable water resources” or “meat production contributes multitudes of greenhouse gasses to the atmosphere” or “meat production can fuel animal torture” or something like that?
“You’re a bad person” won’t stop a single animal from being exploited. It won’t feed a single additional hungry mouth on this planet. It might, however, encourage someone to stop up hir ears and refuse to listen to any more.
Humans are masters of cognitive dissonance. People can convince ourselves that reality isn’t. That excess animals don’t really waste valuable water resources. That the jury is still out on meat production and greenhouse gasses. That animal torture is blown out of proportion. And maybe willingly keeping a mental bubble that allows oneself to eat meat guilt-free makes one a bad person. I don’t dispute that.
But running around saying “you’re a bad person” really accomplishes nothing but the trollz. So well done, troll, well done.

- I’m a shithead for a great many reasons, all of which, you will never know about. Everyone on the planet is a shithead for their own reasons. You may or may not have any specific knowledge of anyone. Given how highly you seem to think of your own opinion, I would not be surprised if this turns out to be very few people.
- Your uninformed and self-aggrandizing declaration says everything about you and little about anyone else. Enjoy your insulting, self-important and offensive life. You might as well, you seem committed to making it.
